So last week in the mail my grandma received a letter in the mail from my sister’s school. About how there is a lot of bullying in the middle school and their goal this year is to try and resolve as much of it as possible by setting more rules, and doing certain activities that will address that bullying is a problem.
By reading that I was just shocked about how big of a problem it really is. I never really noticed it till I started reading Thirteen Reasons Why. Just by listening to my sisters conversations with her friends it really is a MAJOR problem. I’m really glad that the school has noticed that it is becoming a problem other then ignoring like other schools have. Kinda makes me feel better and not so paranoid about what my sister and her friends are gossiping about.
I completely agree! I think there will always be bullying in every school no matter what, and it's just terrible. I certainly have learned from my mistakes early on so I can appreciate every person that comes into my life.

ReplyDeleteI heard a big story on NPR last night about cyber-bullying. It's a huge topic, and everyone is trying to decide the school's role in education for prevention.
